Reservation and Votes

RESERVATION AND VOTES?

India is known for unity in diversity. The country of different colors. colors of creativity, colors of festivals, colors of culture, colors of tradition, colors of life.

But these colors are being named after religion, named after castes-everyone knows  for what and  whose benefit... certainly not for benefits of common man.

 The fact remain India is divided into pieces by boundaries of reservations intended not really for upliftment of lower caste or of minority… reservation just to earn votes.

We Indians are suffering from the same old divide and rule policy adopted by the British. The same policy is adopted by our political leaders and they who fool the public. Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, ST, SC, and OBC. 

 How much further are  we going to  keep dividing ourselves? The lure of reservation quota for backward classes and minorities to public is slowly killing our mindset and our system. More and more incompetent, ignorant and lazy people are getting into our system everywhere. How long will this discrimination  go on? 

I would like to directly blame the Central Govt who don't want Lokpal to be a reality. Cunning minds in the parliament just diverted the debate from anti-corruption law to a religious issue.  

                    The reservation is a sword that is used for cutting Unity.

Its a lollipop that is given to minority section, so that they will remain away from anti-corruption movement and would concentrate on issues of reservation of community.

all the minority section may it be a Muslim or christian, Sikh or other, be aware these politicians are just using the religion factor for earning votes and notes. Same is the case with Hindus.. hindu's are divided into schedule caste, scheduled tribes and  OBC for what.? 

Enough!  It is only  creating a valley of distances. The reservation is main cause for caste and religious discrimination and the reservation policy has became threat to unity of the country.

Tt has become a style of earning votes by dividing society into Hindu, Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, and so on. 

but time has come to show them we don't want reservation on basis of caste and religion. we are India. we may be poor, middle class or rich. Dear politicians if you people are really bothered about country, please don't divide us.. you want to give  Reservation give it to all section on basis of economic condition.

Stop the age old tactics of Divide and Rule.

Caution : Beware of the pretense of secularism.. which is actually dividing India.. political party who are dividing and luring minorities are more dangerous.We dont want any more partition. British did it with Bengal.. and selfish politician did it in 1947. Base was religion. so stop it now.  

Goa is watching its leaders

I was reminded of a great saying on the occasion of Sonia Gandhis visit to Goa on 17 December.

You can fool some of the people all of the times, you can fool all of the people some of the times but you can’t fool all the people all the time.

However that is what Indian National Congress president Sonia Gandhi is trying to do in her visit to Goa on 17 December. The congress party chief had in the past agreed to look into the demand for a special status to Goa and had even promised to work towards it! The promise has remained unfulfilled, and still the lady has unscrupulously come back to the Goans promoting her party’s election campaign.  it could termed as mockery of Goa  as the lady again promised to look into the matter of giving spacial status to Goa, although she failed to give specific assurance.

Golden jubilee celebrations of Goa’s liberation served as a perfact opportunity for the Congress chief’s Goa visit.  Mrs. Gandhi along with the state congress party leader’s as well central leaders made a show of strength at the rally organized on the occasion. While the fact remains that congress is just a topic of hatred for Goans. It was never a government of Aam admi as it claimes to be.  Goa has for past few years witnessed numerous illegalities and allegation of scams against State Government. Goa being a small state never lagged behind any other state in case of alleged corruption, scams and illegalities.

Before coming back to Sonia Gandhi’s meeting it would be appropriate to mention few stains on Congress led Govt. in Goa - alleged scam of 25000 crores of rupees in mining sector which 

compelled the central government to form the Shah commission to study and submit the report, GIDC land allotment scam, SEZ Scam, police- politician – drug nexus, alleged water tanks scam,  alleged excise scam, stone pelting on police station, and the list goes on. Opposition to Regional Plan 2021 is a matter of shame as even ruling party members are demanding scrapping of regional plan 2021.

While the state Govt. has failed to handle most of the crucial issues as many alleged by opposition leader.

Coming back to Sonia Gandhi’s public meeting, it is utterly shameful to bring a crowd (not people) from neighboring states just to project huge numbers of people for meeting. Was it merely to create headlines like – “Huge response to Sonia’s public meet,” or “thousands thronged to listen Sonia Gandhi? These questions are raised just because it was seen that large number of buses full of crowd was brought from neighbouring states

Noticeable presence of Maharashtra government busses has raised speculations about how government buses were brought in to ferry people for a political party’s meting and who paid the expanses for such transportation. Apart from the buses from neighboring states private buses from Goa, four wheeler and congress supporters with two wheeler led to heavy traffic problem which only shows how the management is lacking in the party . 

Of course any leader can organize and address a public meet. But in this case it was just  politics- cheap politics. It was politics to utilize the occasion of celebrating 50 Years of Goa’s liberation for political gains. And to all those who don’t know the village of  Mayem in Goa is still under the custodian of foreign properties . So the failure of state govt. to solve the issue is simply condemnable.

The Golden jubilee year celebration of Independence was used as a platform for the election campaign that followed the celebrations. It was noted that in the capital city of Goa huge hoardings of congress leaders were displayed on various spots and all along the road in the city. Congress may display the Hoardings of party leader in the same line where a hoarding of Freedom fighter T.B. Cunha was also displayed.  It surprising to see a freedom fighter hoarding and congress party leader’s posters displayed on same days with same event. Congress may be trying to show that the party was only responsible factor for Goa’s liberation.

In fact at the peak point of satyagraha against Portuguese Nehru in Congress meet had ordered congress members not to participate in  Goas freedom movement. Stating instead the issue had an international dimension  and could be solved peacefully. the so called peacemaker under the heavy burden of his own image of peace maker ( Shanti Doot) became responsible for Goa's late liberation.
